Police cited Ryan Feldkamp, 20, of Manhattan for possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 12:18 a.m. Wednesday while in the 1100 block of North 11th Street.
Officers cited Hank Hagan, 20, of Manhattan at about 11 p.m. Thursday while in the 1100 block of Bertrand Street for possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Police cited Jaiden Haynes, 22, of Manhattan at about 1:45 a.m. Friday while in the 800 block of North Manhattan Avenue for possession of an open container in public.
INCIDENTS
Police reported possession of stolen property and criminal damage to property at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of North Main Street. Officers found the 46-year-old man’s trailer with a damaged fender, tail lights, wire harness and light plug at the Short Stop gas station in Riley for a loss of about $1,500. The 35-year-old and 54-year-old men stole it from Clay Center.
Officers responded to a burglary at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Anderson Avenue. A 21-year-old man told law enforcement that someone stole his Stag Arms AR15 gun from his home for a loss of about $2,000.
Police reported criminal damage to property at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Sunset Avenue. A 20-year-old man told officers that people he didn’t know threw a spray paint can at his truck parked in the Beta Theta Pi fraternity parking lot. The act caused damage to the hood and windshield for a loss of about $850.
Officers arrested John Swartz, 52, of Manhattan at about 2 p.m. Thursday on a Pottawatomie County District Court warrant for possession of opiate, opium or narcotic and possession of marijuana. Authorities released Swartz from Riley County jail on $5,000 bond.
Police responded to a burglary at about 12:30 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Moro Street. A 19-year-old man reported that someone stole his Glock 17 9mm handgun from his vehicle for a loss of about $600. The gun was later recovered from Tubby’s Sports Bar.
